Marissa Aurora (they/them) is a multimedia artist from Los Cerrillos, New Mexico. Their work, which spans many mediums, from film and textiles to sculpture and performance, strives to be a source of play and introspection for both the artist and the audience.
Their most recent work examines our interaction with natural elements, particularly wind and water, and examines queerness as a means of navigating the world, akin to ancient seafarers finding their way by the stars.
