Queer Poetry by Rolo

This workshop explores The Queer Gaze as a lens to challenge traditional views of gender power dynamics. Through poetry, we will deconstruct dominant narratives, subvert the heteronormative gaze, and share personal perspectives on identity, relationships, and embodiment. By collecting and writing queer narratives, we create space for self-expression, liberation, and reimagining the world on our terms. This workshop will be host by Queer Poetry Eresos, a welcoming space for reading, writing, and sharing poetry inspired by our queer lives and founded 2024 by Rolo Barrios in Skala Eressos. Open to all, whether you’re new to poetry, rediscovering it, or simply looking for a space to express yourself.
