Queer resistance, embodied listening and voice

This workshop aims to invite you into the playful synergies between

sensing, pleasure, attunement and the correspondence of voice

movement and listening.

To queer up our way of perceiving, beyond the normative eye-centered

patriarchal performativity, is also an act of euphoric resistance. In this

way, listening offers us many ways of inhabiting and relating to our

soundscape as a fluid community, bringing awareness to our

intersections and positionalities.

Participants will explore the rich potentialities of their voices, bodies,

and memories, engaging in a dialogue with the past and envisioning

shared futures. We will playfully explore our bodies as resonators whilst

connecting to glitchy pitches and uncontrollable twists (of the sapphic

sea.)
